I must have walked past this little waterfall a hundred times On my way up Rivington Pike. I’ve known about it and that it was somewhere near the path but never got to see it.

On this occasion I was on my own. I’d been booked as the ‘Dad Taxi’ for the afternoon and dropped a small rabble off at the Middlebrook cinema. With at least two and a half hours to kill I took the opportunity.

I followed the sound(with my ears free from the usual chiId noises I could actually hear it.)

I think another visit is in order when that fallen branch has moved along.
